Looks like my home theater project is going to get a whole lot easier. This is just what I need. Now only if Sony understands that one of the top sales arguments for to this is to be able to record from TV using PS3 and then watch the recording on any device, not just the PS3.
When looking at Sony’s track record it’s quite likely that this will be ridden with DRM and insanely strict restrictions. Good thing that it’s only a matter of time before DVD Jon cracks it.

It feels VERY weird to be back to work. Not too bad as such but weird. It was really nice to see my workmates and since the customers are arriving from their vacations too there isn’t really that much do-it-yesterday type of tasks, so it all was pretty comfortable.
The weird part was actually the part where I noticed that I really like my job again. The high stress levels of the first and second quarter seem to be behind and I’m actually getting some new stuff to work on. So all and all I have high hopes for the rest of the year. Seems that finally I can reap the benefits of the hard work where, rather than just get blindly assigned to do some stuff. Now it seems that I get to pick and choose, at least to some degree.
Or maybe it’s just the overheating economy mixing with the excess seratonin levels caused by the free time. Whatever it is, I feel pretty happy.
